The Cine Gear Expo Technical Awards

The 2012 Cine Gear Expo Technical Awards were presented to the best debuting products that were exhibited at Cine Gear and were available for the first time on the show floor. The winners were selected on site by a panel of Industry experts with an eye toward the latest in technology. The panel of judges evaluated only new products launched in the United States for the first time in 2012.

Winners:

Support technology – Geo Film Group Inc. – Alpha Stabilized Remote Camera Head

Lighting technology – 3 way tie

Hollywood Vaults – Generator integrated into vehicle

Hive Lighting – Line of Plasma lights

K5600 – Joker 1600 series of lights –

Post Production Technology – Light Iron – TODAILIES

Other – Sony Professional Solutions of America and Filmlight LTD. – Mates the Truelight Software to the Sony BVM E Series Monitors   

Sound Technology – No Award Given

3D Technology – No Award Given

The 2013 Cine Gear Expo Technical Awards will be presented to the best debuting products that are unveiled in 2013. The winners will be selected on site by a panel of Industry experts with an eye toward the latest in technology. The panel of judges will evaluate only new products that are launched in the United States for the first time in 2013 but if there is a tie between a product that has been previously introduced at a different event in the United States in 2013 and a product that is unveiled at Cine Gear and is available for the first time on the show floor, the product that is launched at Cine Gear Expo 2013 Los Angeles will receive preference.
