The Angel - A dying old lady is visited by death
Bloom - Love’s labor is lost at an auto dealership when misplaced affections lead to tragedy and self-discovery
Without Paris - A short story of an ill-fated romance set in the city of love. Etienne, in his old age, narrates a tale of his young self, the woman he loved and their passionate but brief relationship
Absolute Zero - An account of the grim and ironic death by freezing of a man trapped inside a refrigerated meat wagon, told using a combination of archival and imagined material to speculate on the man’s final hours.
