Set in the 1930s, Woody Allen’s bittersweet romance CAFÉ SOCIETY follows Bronx-born Bobby Dorfman to Hollywood, where he falls in love, and back to New York, where he is swept up in the vibrant world of high society nightclub life.
Centering on events in the lives of Bobby’s colorful Bronx family, the film is a glittering valentine to the movie stars, socialites, playboys, debutantes, politicians, and gangsters who epitomized the excitement and glamour of the age.

Vittorio Storaro, ASC, AIC is one of the most influential and celebrated cinematographers of all time. Storaro recently completed work on Director Woody Allen’s first Digital feature film Café Society. With groundbreaking films such as The Conformist (1970), Last Tango in Paris (1972), Apocalypse Now (1979), The Last Emperor (1987), Dick Tracey (1990). Storaro has earned Oscars for Apocalypse Now, Reds, and The Last Emperor and has been honored with a lifetime achievement award from the American Society of Cinematographers. Storaro also won a Primetime Emmy award for outstanding miniseries, a Bafta award for best Cinematography for Sheltering Sky among many other awards and achievements

Through the lens of one of the great archaeological events of the modern age – the discovery of the Terracotta Warriors and the First Emperor’s Tomb – Mysteries of China reveals the underlying story of how this world superpower came to be.
Narrated by Avery Brooks of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fame, China is produced by Giant Screen Films, Top Production China and Expanded Eye Entertainment, and distributed globally by Giant Screen Films and D3D Cinema in digital 3D and 15/70 dome formats.

Large-Format Breakthrough: Reed Smoot, ASC and Director Keith Melton
Director and producer Keith Melton and director of photography Reed Smoot, ASC, bring a unique perspective to the needs of the largest cinema screens.
Their collective experience spans over 35 large format films, feature films, special venue and 3D projects in just about every film and digital format. Recently, they pushed digital acquisition to a higher level using F65 cameras in the first commercial application of Sony’s new Super Resolution De-Mosaicing (SRDM) technology. Their project is Mysteries of China, a Giant Screen Films release due in theaters October 2016.
