Tal Vigderson
  

Tal Vigderson spearheaded the re-launch of the Internet animation powerhouse Icebox.com. He is the managing director of the company overseeing all aspects of the business including development and production.  Most recently Mr. Vigderson produced “Blood Never Dry:  Child Soldiers in Africa,” a documentary for Fox TV and co-created and executive produced an animated pilot presentation for TBS titled “Stay Tooned.”  Mr. Vigderson is also producing a feature-length documentary about the life of Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe on Fox-TV’s “24”) as well as a scripted series for MySpace.  He recently produced a series of animated shorts for Fox News titled Guy White as well as an animated version of the television series 24 for the Web.  He is the producer of the theatrical animated feature film Queer Duck for Paramount starring David Duchovny, Tim Curry, Andy Dick and Jim J. Bullock. Icebox released its signature property, Mr. Wong on DVD and video in 2006 in conjunction with National Lampoon with Mr. Vigderson serving as executive producer for the project. In connection with Icebox, Mr. Vigderson has been profiled by The Hollywood Reporter (cover) and has been featured in several other national publications. In addition, he recently served as co-producer of the Sony Pictures Classics theatrical release, Baadasssss.

Mr. Vigderson continues to represent filmmakers, film and television writers and executive producers, actors and independent production and new media companies.  Los Angeles Magazine named him a Super Lawyer in the Arts and Entertainment field in both 2004 and 2005.

Prior to the re-launch of Icebox, Mr. Vigderson was the vice president of creative and business affairs for the company.  As an entertainment attorney at Katten Muchin Zavis Mr. Vigderson represented and counseled a wide variety of international entertainment industry clients encompassing talent, producers and rights holders in film, television, multi-media and the Internet and advertising. Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Vigderson conducted research screenings across the country for several major motion picture studios while at the National Research Group. Mr. Vigderson is currently an appointed member of The Greater Griffith Park Neighborhood Council Board.  He has also been a professional photographer, a special education teacher and a frequent contributor to the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series of books.

Mr. Vigderson also has extensive experience in the advertising industry including negotiating and drafting talent deals for foreign and domestic commercials, analyzing advertising law and helping to devise contests and sweepstakes. His Internet practice includes content providers, business to business services and direct consumer marketing in a variety of Internet and Internet related fields.

Mr. Vigderson is a member of the California State Bar and a graduate of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles where he was a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society and Senior Note and Comment Editor of the Law Review.  Mr. Vigderson’s article, “Hamlet II: The Sequel?  The Rights of Authors vs. Computer Generated ‘Read-Alike’ Works” won the 1994 California State Bar Intellectual Property Section Essay Competition.  In addition, he holds an undergraduate degree in Radio, Television and Film with an emphasis in Film Writing from San Diego State University.

Mr. Vigderson is currently a mentor to inner city youth and enjoys tennis, hiking, scuba diving and travel.
