In this ON AIR episode, James Mockoski, Film Archivist & Restoration Supervisor at American Zoetrope, joins moderator Jay Holben to discuss the restoration of The Godfather for its 50th Anniversary, as well as restorations of Francis Ford Coppola’s One from the Heart, and Jonathan Demme’s Stop Making Sense Talking Heads documentary for its 40th Anniversary this month.

James will also share about his longtime role at Coppola’s company, how he approaches restorations, and some of the techniques he employs to bring these cinematic images back to their original glory.
