Technocrane, the leader in telescopic crane technology for film, broadcast and commercial productions, is thrilled to announce its participation at Cinegear Expo 2025, held at Universal Studios Backlot. Visit us at Booth 53 on Friday and Saturday, June 6-7, 2025, to experience the cutting-edge TechnoDolly 25 provided by Cinemoves, and meet industry veteran Ron Tatham, one of the most respected crane operators in the business.

Ron Tatum, whose expertise has enhanced numerous high-profile projects, will be on-site to share insights from his distinguished career. Recently, Tatum operated the TechnoDolly 25 from Cinemoves on the set of Sinners, delivering dynamic shots that showcase the crane’s precision and versatility. Reflecting on his experience, Tatham said, “I have been fortunate to work on some special projects over the years as a Technocrane and TechnoDolly operator with Cinemoves. Sinners for me stands out as one of the most challenging and rewarding. Autumn Durald Arkapaw, ASC, Director Ryan Coogler, and VFX Supervisor Michael Ralla wanted to push the envelope and create something unique. The TechnoDolly 25 allowed us to blend the feel of human touch with the precision of unmatched motion control—all while supporting the massive 100-pound system 65 and IMAX camera packages.” His presence at the show offers a unique opportunity to learn from a seasoned professional.

The TechnoDolly 25, a highlight of Technocrane’s innovative lineup, will be on display, demonstrating its advanced capabilities for professionals seeking impactful, high-quality shots. Our team will be available to answer questions and provide limited hands-on demonstrations of this state-of-the-art equipment.

“Cinegear Expo is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the creative community,” said Josh Bumgarner, Global Sales Rep and TechnoDolly Operator at Technocrane. “We’re excited to bring the TechnoDolly 25 from Cinemoves here in L.A. and Ron Tatham’s expertise to Cinegear, showing why Technocrane is the go-to choice for any size production.”

Join us at Cinegear Expo 2025, Booth 53, on June 6-7, 2025, at Universal Studios Backlot to explore the future of telescopic crane technology and hear from Ron and his experiences shaping some of the industry’s biggest moments. Don’t miss this chance to see the TechnoDolly 25 in action and discover how Technocrane can elevate your next project.
